Dr Hansong XUE

Research Fellow

Hansong was a Research Fellow in Cities Knowledge Graph, a joint project with the Singapore-ETH Centre.

Prior to joining CARES, Hansong received his B.Sc. with 1st class honours in Mathematics at National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2009, followed by a double M.Sc. in Mathematics at NUS and in Chemistry at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2011 and 2015, respectively. Afterwards, he received his Ph.D. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at NUS in 2019 and worked as leader of thin-film modelling team and novel cell concepts simulation team in the Solar Energy Institute of Singapore (SERIS) from 2019 to 2021.

Research Interest

Hansong's research interests include multi-scale and multi-physical mathematical modelling of transport phenomena, solar photovoltaics, optical modeling, computational chemistry, reaction kinetics, photochemical flow reactions, applied machine learning.
